Master bakers Liz Prueitt and Chad Robertson opened Tartine Bakery in San Francisco's Mission District in 2002, becoming synonymous with quality and artisanality. Tartine looked to Gin Lane to create an expressive and inspired identity refresh for them as they continue to expand with new outposts in Seoul and Los Angeles.
Working on this project was a dream come true for a San Francisco native like myself. Liz & Chad's unwavering focus and dedication to their craft was a source of great inspiration for the rebrand. With the Gin Lane brand team, I developed a refreshed visual identity featuring a graphic system featuring an abstracted sun / loaf of bread, a bespoke wordmark, and a rich palette that evokes the warmth of the bakery's ovens.
